Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at camelback.ai (the "Site"). The Site is operated by Silicon Desert Management, LLC ("Silicon Desert Management," "we," "our," or "us"), a Delaware limited liability company with its principal place of business in Arizona. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Site.

1. Nature of the Site and the Platform.
The Camelback is a private single-family investment platform, part of the Silicon Desert family of companies. The Site is maintained solely to communicate the existence, identity, and general posture of the platform. Silicon Desert Management, LLC does not hold itself out to the public as an investment adviser, broker-dealer, commodity pool operator, commodity trading advisor, or any other registered financial services provider. Silicon Desert Management, LLC operates under the family office exemption of Rule 202(a)(11)(G)-1 of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940. 2. No Investment Advice; No Solicitation.
Nothing on the Site constitutes, or is intended to constitute, investment advice, tax advice, legal advice, accounting advice, or any other form of professional advice. Nothing on the Site is an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security, fund interest, investment product, or advisory service, in any jurisdiction, to any person. No investment fund, vehicle, or interest managed or advised by Silicon Desert Management, LLC or any of its affiliates is offered to the public, and no such fund, vehicle, or interest will be offered or sold except in compliance with all applicable securities laws and exemptions and only to the single family for which the platform was established. You should not rely on anything on the Site in making any investment, legal, tax, or financial decision.

3. Informational Use Only.
The content on the Site is provided for general informational purposes only. Silicon Desert Management, LLC makes no representation or warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness-for-purpose of any information on the Site. Information on the Site may be changed, updated, or removed at any time without notice.

4. Intellectual Property.
All content on the Site — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, trademarks (registered and unregistered), service marks, images, illustrations, layouts, designs, audio, video, software, and source code — is owned by Silicon Desert Management, LLC, its affiliates, or its licensors, and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the Site for your personal, non-commercial informational use only. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, republish, sell, license, publicly display, publicly perform, transmit, or otherwise exploit any content on the Site without the prior written consent of Silicon Desert Management, LLC.

The names The Camelback, Silicon Desert, Silicon Desert Management, and related marks, taglines, and logos are trademarks and/or service marks of Silicon Desert Management, LLC or its affiliates. Other names and logos appearing on the Site may be trademarks of their respective owners.

5. Prohibited Uses.
You agree not to, and not to attempt to:

  • access, acquire, copy, or monitor any portion of the Site, or reproduce or circumvent the navigational structure or presentation of the Site, through any automated means (including robots, spiders, crawlers, scrapers, data-mining tools, or harvesting software) without the prior written consent of Silicon Desert Management, LLC;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of any software used on the Site;
  • interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Site or any servers or networks connected to the Site, or attempt any unauthorized access to the Site, other user accounts, or any other computer systems or networks connected to the Site;
  • use the Site or any information from the Site to market, solicit, or promote any product, service, or offering, whether your own or a third party's, to Silicon Desert Management, LLC, its personnel, its affiliates, or any user of the Site;
  • use the Site, any content of the Site, or any data collected from the Site to train, fine-tune, develop, evaluate, benchmark, ground, or otherwise build or improve any artificial intelligence model, machine learning model, large language model, foundation model, generative AI system, retrieval-augmented system, search index, or derivative dataset, without the prior express written consent of Silicon Desert Management, LLC. This prohibition applies regardless of whether an automated system is identified by a standard crawler user-agent, and regardless of whether the Site's robots.txt or meta directives are respected.
  • use the Site in any manner that could disable, damage, or impair the Site or interfere with any other party's use of the Site;
  • use the Site in violation of any applicable law, rule, regulation, or these Terms.

6. Unsolicited Submissions.
Silicon Desert Management, LLC does not accept unsolicited investment proposals, business plans, capital-raising pitches, partnership inquiries, job applications, or similar submissions through the Site. Any such submission sent to Silicon Desert Management, LLC will be deemed non-confidential and non-proprietary, and Silicon Desert Management, LLC shall have no obligation of any kind with respect to such submission, and shall be free to use or disclose it for any purpose whatsoever without attribution or compensation.

7. Third-Party Links and References.
The Site may from time to time contain links to, or references to, third-party websites, products, or services. Such links and references are provided solely for convenience. Silicon Desert Management, LLC does not endorse, control, or accept responsibility for any third-party content and makes no representation or warranty regarding third-party websites, products, or services.

8. No Warranty.
THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ON THE SITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, TITLE, ACCURACY, OR FREEDOM FROM COMPUTER VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL CODE. SILICON DESERT MANAGEMENT, LLC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

9. Limitation of Liability.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SILICON DESERT MANAGEMENT, LLC, ITS AFFILIATES, OR ANY OF THEIR RESPECTIVE MEMBERS, MANAGERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR REPRESENTATIVES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE SITE OR ANY CONTENT ON THE SITE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STATUTE, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, AND WHETHER OR NOT SILICON DESERT MANAGEMENT, LLC HAS BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN ANY EVENT, THE AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF SILICON DESERT MANAGEMENT, LLC ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SITE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100.00).

10. Indemnification.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Silicon Desert Management, LLC, its affiliates, and their respective members, managers, officers, employees, agents, and representatives from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to (a) your access to or use of the Site, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.

11. Governing Law; Venue.
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. The state and federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts and waive any objection to venue therein.

12. Changes to These Terms.
Silicon Desert Management, LLC may modify these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on the Site. The revised version becomes effective when posted. Your continued use of the Site after a revised version is posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised version.

13. Severability; No Waiver; Entire Agreement.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Silicon Desert Management, LLC's failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Silicon Desert Management, LLC with respect to the Site and supersede any prior or contemporaneous communications, agreements, or understandings.
